The Scenic Orchard by Emily

Barneveld, New York, United States

Overview

Situated on 40+ acres, The Scenic Orchard offers a very private and luxurious experience of staying in a modern and brand new tiny house while enjoying wildlife around. Guests will be able to watch the sunrise and sunset when staying here! Watch the sunset cozied up in bed or step onto the outdoor deck by the fireplace with your cup of coffee to enjoy the sunrise sweeping over the valleys and hills.

Bedroom

The bedroom is surrounded by three giant wall windows which allow you to wake up every day to a beautiful view or stargaze before sleeping. There are blinds for privacy and protection from the sunlight during the day. A queen sized bed with plenty of pillows and blankets and spotless linens are perfectly comfortable for two. There is also a night stand available for extra storage, an air conditioning and a flat screen TV hanging on the corner of this aesthetic room dominated by white color.

Bathroom

The bathroom is clean and spacious with a walk-in shower and dimmable lit up mirror. The water pressure from the rain showerhead is great and there is additional counter space near the sink and many different options for the bidet and a heated toilet seat. All the essentials including the cleaning products are available and there are tons of towels, face towels, robes, and even a turbie twist.

Livingspace

The house is small but pristine and full of thoughtful touches like games and heated floors. Everything is so spotless, modern and the little details to make the space functional are outstanding. Featuring large glass windows throughout the front will have you staring into the horizon with unobstructed views anytime of the day.

The interior is based on the simplicity and peacefulness of the surrounding property (The AKaydia Estate) tying in clean and calming colors. This space also boasts local artists and USA made interior decorations and amenities. There is also portable fan, air conditioning, and heating, as well as a dedicated workspace that also functions as a dining nook.

The kitchen is small but brings big amenities such as hot water kettle, pour-over coffee, coffee maker, nespresso machine, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, toaster, stove, baking sheet, wine glasses, and plenty of cooking basics like pots and pans, oil, salt, and pepper. There are even snacks and cocoa provided, such a cherry on top of the cake!

Exterior

step onto the beautifully lit outdoor deck by the fireplace with your cup of coffee to enjoy the sunrise or sunset sweeping over the valleys and hills. The modern and stylish fire pit is perfectly positioned right outside the front door and facing the open land and a scenic view.

There is also a private hot tub on the side of the house which is a nice additional treat and other than the cold walk to get there, especially in chillier months, the tub is easy to use and warms up quickly. The host even provides special towels to use in the hot tub.

Aside from all the valleys and hills surrounding the property, there are other activities you can engage during your staycation here. One of those is pottery immersion at Azure Arts Studio nearby. The wildlife is also just around the corner, so it is pretty easy to spot some deers in the property.
