If you are looking for social distance, this is the place for you! The Creekside Treehouse by Debbie is situated in Forestburg, Texas, United States. Here you will be staying in a newly built luxurious treehouse with a full bathroom located creekside on a 300-acre working farm. You will enjoy the sound of the creek while sitting on the deck up in the trees and the slow pace of country living while relaxing around the fire, napping in the hammock or reading a book in the swing.
To reach the bedroom in the loft, you need to climb the ladders. They are firm and sturdy but are quite steep. The loft itself is compact but has enough room to sleep and lounge without hitting your head. The freshly-made memory foam bed in the loft is very comfortable and warm and the linens are clean. There is also a sofa bed on the main level in case you bring more people to stay. Overall this space can accommodate up to 4 guests.
This accommodation offers a newly built full bath equipped with complete amenities and a unique circular shower. Many people find the towels are fluffy and spotless.
The house is bigger than expected and it has thoughtful touches. The moment you step into the house you will automatically feel the country chic vibe. The kitchenette has everything you need during your staycation: pot, pan, full set of utensils, dishes and cups, can opener, wine bottle opener, Keurig with an assortment of coffee and tea, glasses, paper towels, single cooktop, microwave, crock pot, toaster, George Foreman Grill, and mini-fridge/freezer combo with ice trays.
No TV and oven are available in the house. Wi-Fi is available through listing and there are plenty of board games provided for indoor entertainment.
The Creekside Treehouse is located half a mile down a gravel road. You will have full access to the entire treehouse, multiple seating areas and a private area of the creek. Be extra careful since the steps down to the creek are steep. There is also plenty of parking only steps away from the main entrance.
The big fire pit with plenty of fresh firewood and fire starter is provided in the outdoor seating area. On the porch there is a table built into the tree, meanwhile, on the ground, they incorporate tree logs into tables. At night, the lighting comes from fairy string lights and it looks magical and romantic at the same time.
There is a relaxing area Under the deck where the swing and the hammock are installed. A private zipline and scavenger hunt are provided for little outdoor adventure. If you crave for peace and serenity, you might just want to sit by the creek. It is cool and teeming with baby frogs. Basically the whole area of the property is a place of solitude as it is surrounded by humming birds and the sound of babbling creek. And if you are lucky you might even see armadillos wander around.
Not that much anything to do around the town but there are local wineries you can check out on. St. Joe is one of those recommended places to visit.
The Creekside Treehouse is a rare treat of remote getaway and more like a digital detox. It is nestled in a perfect location; close to gravel road yet still quiet and secluded. It is such a lovely blend of feeling private, but with a good sense of being somewhere safe in case of an emergency. It is well-maintained and the outdoor spaces are ample.
