The BoHo Box Hop – Hocking Hills by Emily & Seth

The Boho Box Hop is the newest design from the owners of The Box Hop. A more intimate setting is perfect for a couples getaway even though it can accommodate up to four guests comfortably with the pull-out bed on the first floor. You will have all the luxuries of a secluded getaway with solitude and peace while being only a few miles from the main highway and close to all that Hocking Hills has to offer.

There are two spaces to sleep in this house, on the loft and the main floor. One pull-out memory foam sofa is available on the main floor, and it is best and still comfy enough to sleep two. The bedroom nook upstairs is the coziest and one-of-a-kind room you would ever encounter, with a very comfortable king-size bed that makes you feel like sleeping in the clouds.

You will be sleeping under the stars and waking up to the sun rising through the trees as this room is all windows on two sides and a giant skylight over the bed. It will be fun to stargaze while lying in bed but do bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to light and would like to sleep in.

The bathroom is spacious and bigger than expected, considering it is in a tiny house. All the essentials and extra toiletries are provided, including a towel warmer which is the plus side. You can also enjoy taking a hot shower while listening to your favorite music connected to an overhead Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom.

The Boho Box Hop is made out of two intermodal shipping containers. It is unique in design and architecture. Like a tiny home, The Boho utilizes compact living, using every space creatively to live the simple life. The kitchen is well equipped to cook full meals, which is a nice bonus.

The Boho Box Hop is extremely clean and has amazing little thoughtful touches throughout. Not only is space well designed and beautiful, but it is also the special amenities that will make you wish you booked an extra day or two, such as guitar, french press, a record player.

Besides the details of this beautiful home, the host also provides a personalized welcome sign, a coffee bag on the counter, a collaboration of delicious fresh beans, and lots of drinks in the fridge. The house’s decorations are very tasteful and very stylish, not to mention that all the household soaps and cleaners are all provided.

There is a large deck with an outdoor chiminea (fire), gas grill, and hammock to relax and read books on the backside of the home. Perfect for enjoying the night and sipping wine while grilling the s’more with all the ingredients provided. There is also a hot tub to help you relax after a day of hiking at the many attractions. Ziplining is also available to satisfy your adventurous needs.

The driveway to space is a little rough, rocky, and a bit unnerving. It is mostly gravel. However, the locale is easy to find and could not be better for hiking excursions or hanging in nearby Athens. This property is right in the middle of Hocking Hills hiking trails. Easy access from Route 33 with only 1.5 miles from the exit.

Easy access to Rock House, Logan Lake State Park, Connie’s Hollow, Old Mans Cave, and Hocking Hills State Park. Zaleski State Park is just a 30 minutes drive to hike and see the Moonville tunnel. Rockbridge trail is very close and beautiful as well. The BoHo Box Hop is also only a 5-minute drive to the fabulous Kroger, so you do not need to bring food because this Kroger has all the high-end items you might need.
