If you want to experience how it feels to live in a treetop without being exactly on a tree or if you fear heights, this space is perfect for you. Situated in Portland, Oregon, United States, Tabor Treehouse is a home that will change forever the way that you view what a vacation should be. with its warm decor, cozy wood stove, and modern furnishings, The home was beautiful, cozy, and tranquil. The home’s elevated deck has a grand old fir tree as its centerpiece, and it’s the perfect spot to spend a warm summer evening enjoying your favorite wine or microbrew while listening to the wind blow through the treetops.
The sleeping loft has a spiral staircase that is very modern and one of the highlights of this house. The Pendling queen-sized bed is extremely comfortable and clean with extra pillows and blankets. The room is equipped with flat screen TV, air conditioner, power outlets, and plenty of lights both from the lamps and also from the sunlights through the huge windows. The loft is fenced with wood railings and there are steps to the extra little guest room above as well.
The bathroom is tiny but it could fit a tub and it is stocked with eco-friendly cleaning products. All the essentials such as towels, toilet paper, shampoo, and hot water are provided, but there is no hair dryer and even no sink in the bathroom.
The house itself is super clean with amazing details and excellent craftsmanship. Everything is thoughtfully chosen right down to the coffee spoon. The rustic wood furnishing, the wood stove, and the wood fireplace are really gorgeous and functional. However, this accommodation is not that spacious and a bit shaky.
There are a lot of windows which make the trees around visible and they also do the tricks to make the room more spacious, adding to the treehouse style. Nevertheless, there is a little kitchen fully stocked with a minifridge, two-burner cooktop, countertop convection oven, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It even has coffee beans and the grinder and also the organic offerings of condiments and kitchen staples. There are even stamped postcards to write friends while you’re away.

Portland’s easily-accessible public transportation system makes this an ideal home from which to experience all that the city has to offer.
Tabor Treehouse is such an oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, yet it is really private and secluded. Everything is within reach, from a range of good restaurants to great hiking trails. The house itself has everything you need for a great staycation. It is charming, clean, and super cozy.
However, there are a lot of stairs inside and outside the house even though it is not very high, still it might be a concern for elders or handicapped. It is also not exactly in the middle of nature; it is located just in a quiet neighbourhood, so do expect to see residences around. Not recommended for those who crave for adventure, but still perfect for a little getaway while still being in the city.
