The fold lines on the bed are really clean and neat. The stairs to the sleeping loft are not steep and awesome as well.
The sleek, large, and very clean bathroom has a beautiful and modern walk-in shower with cool tile work, a sink, and a toilet. towels, shampoo, and other extra amenities are well provided.
The house is exceptionally clean, cozy, and warm. The modern decoration makes this space stunning, stylish, and looks like it is taken right out of an IKEA magazine. The minimalist and artistic Swedish decor is simply beautiful, well-placed, and environmentally thoughtful. The big windows and high ceilings catch the light perfectly to make this house spacious.
There are some really nice touches in the home including hanging flowers and low lights going up the staircase, and the spectacular craftsmanship with striking tile work and natural wood stairs. However, the front doors are glass with no curtains and you can see right into the other accommodation in the property, so not much privacy for changing clothes unless you change in the bathroom downstairs.
The full kitchen offers simplicity yet is well stocked with staples including quality coffee and tea and you can find everything you need. Higher-end appliances such as a robust pour over coffee set-up, honor bar, and washer/dryer are provided. The wooden top in the kitchen can also be a nice place to get some work done.
Relaxing on the glass window porch with a cocoon chair is probably the main highlight during the stay. The screened-in porch allows you to enjoy the views of the natural surroundings all around without having to worry about the bugs. This sunroom is also quaint, surrounded by tall trees which gives the impression that you are far from the city when in reality you are only a few minutes away from Durham.
Even though the house is nestled in a quiet neighbourhood, actually it is just a short enjoyable ride from downtown, hikes, shops, and restaurants. The woods around this North Carolina tiny house offer fantastic hiking opportunities, as do the nearby Duke Forest and Eno River State Park. It is perfect for visiting Durham and Chapel Hill. A lovely park is also just a short walk away.
