Modern Lake House on R Lake – Georgia’s Lake Como

Overview Modern Lake House on R Lake – Georgia’s Lake Como

This lakehouse is amazing! Located on Lake Rabun, “Georgia’s Lake Como” on Lakemont, Georgia, United States.

The lake Rabun recalls the golden age of elegant Chris-Craft boats and wooden Gar wood, aquaplaning along with early vintage wooden water skis racing up and down the shore.

The lake is famous if its unique summer homes, for instance, castles and cabins around the lake. This architectural R Lake Tiny house beauty is nestled in the perfect mountain lake spot.

This slice of heaven on Lake Rabun has given our family so much peach during a chaotic and otherwise crap year. Life here is slower and sweeter.

This home is absolute perfection. Every detail, thoughtful touch, view, privacy, design, and aesthetic are above and beyond and then so much more.

You will be surprised while waking up at sunrise, inside this modern, light-filled home was a delight. The use of space is very thoughtful and efficient, with tons of European touches in decoration.

Experience enchanting views of the lake from all aspects of this luxurious high end finished property! Modern and stylish throughout.

The house is enough for a small family, as you can find more than 1 bedroom. The queen bedroom and full bath are upstairs in a huge space, but it is open to the ground floor’s living area. The double bunks are on the main floor in an area behind the kitchen with a convenient half bath.

Extremely comfortable mattresses, including the oversized bunk beds, which were a surprising treat. The bunk beds are lovely chic, super comfortable, and spacious.

Super comfortable beds and linens—to the point you don’t want to get out of bed (and the view is stunning from it). Two custom bunk beds with LED lighting and a toilet/sink are downstairs.

Bathroom facilities were simply stunning. There are two rain showers (one upstairs in the master and one outside (enclosed below the spa).

The hot tub and paddle boards included really make this Tiny lake house extra special.

The house is a very open concept, so if you require a closed bedroom, this may not be the right choice.

Living Space

The living space design is beautiful and makes you feel extremely comfortable. It is equipped with a modern kitchen and bar, furnishings, and beds.

This is not a typical mountain cabin. It is modern and hip, with a great kitchen space where we gathered around the island for meal prep and conversation. You can find a washer/dryer combo, dishwasher, oven/range, fridge with ice maker, and cooking amenities.

The bar has a wine chiller/ fridge and comes complete with a shaker and glassware. The house had beautiful lighting throughout, which enhanced every aspect of the spectacular design. The view of the lake is excellent from every room, not just from the deck.

Before going to the exterior, the lake itself was an absolute beauty, large, and the water felt so clean and crisp.

The house is tucked into a cove on Lake Rabun. You have to try to enjoy magnificent views on the sundeck featuring a sunken cedar hot tub for stargazing, a cozy fire table, and an outdoor rain shower.

The hosts provide 2 paddleboards that allow you to experience the lake even if you don’t bring your own kayak.

Once you turn out all of the lights at night, you can see a mind-blowing amount of stars. You can stargaze while floating in the jacuzzi or lying on the outdoor couches.

Looking for adventure? You can go for great hiking trails and waterfalls nearby, and Clayton is only about 15 mins away and has some great restaurants.
